He&#8217;s known for hits like &#8220;100 Percent&#8221; and &#8220;3:30&#8221;, and has collaborated with artists like Jovi, Mic Monsta, Mr. Loe, and Yung Time. Taku Joel&#8217;s music often reflects his life experiences and realities, earning him a spot as a leader in the &#8220;New Wave&#8221; movement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some of his notable works include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>New Wave Mixtape (2020) &#8211; a 20-track mixtape featuring singles like &#8220;3:30&#8221;, &#8220;100 Percent&#8221;, and &#8220;Gare Routiere&#8221;. with this taku joel became the first cameroonian rapper to drop a debute 20 song mixtape. this tape later went on to do massive numbers on all streaming platforms. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sound and Sorrows (2022) &#8211; a mixtape with 16 tracks, including collaborations with Sango Edi, Mic Monsta, and Shura. This was the 2nd mixtape of Taku Joel, which breathed a new brand of rap, pure rap on emotional instrumentals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Recent singles like &#8220;Be Free&#8221; (feat. Jovi &amp; Phido) and &#8220;2025&#8221; and NTANG which have further pushed Taku Joel up the ranks as one of the main leaders of the new generation of rap in Cameroon.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div
